what do you know about Islam Muslims and the One God

TAWHÎD AL-ASMA’ WAS-SIFAT (ISLÂMIC MONOTHEISM OF ALLÂH’S NAMES AND QUALITIES)

Tawhîd Al-Asma’ Was-Sifat (Islâmic Monotheism of Allâh’s Names and Qualities) is to perform Monotheism for Allâh in His Names and Descriptions, and this should happen by confirming what He has confirmed among Names and Descriptions for Himself in His Book, or what His Messenger ﷺ has confirmed to Him as well; without any Tahrif (distortion) or Ta’til (suspension), or Takyif (adaptation), or Tamthil (likening). And what follows are the Rules of Names and Qualities.

LoveAllah1Love is the greatest station the seeker on the path to Allah (subḥānahū wa taʿālā) can attain. The love of Allah is the purest and greatest of all loves. It gives life to the heart, it is sustenance for the soul, and is the roadway to eternal success.

Love is the road to Paradise. It is the main reason why we worship Allah, and it is the only way to live a true meaningful life on earth.

Without the love of Allah, life is bleak. This is because there is a void in every person’s heart which can only be filled with the love of Allah. Without love, a person’s life will be full of sadness, anxiety, pains and regrets. On the other hand, when the heart overflows with His love, a person will experience bliss and contentment.

The-Attributes-Sifat-of-Allah-1The Attributes (Sifāt) of Allāh: His Attributes are Dhātiyyah or Fi’liyyah or both.

Definitions: Sifāt: Attributes of Allah. Dhāt: The Self of Allah.

The categorisation of the Attributes of Allah is based on whether the Attributes are intrinsically bound to the Self (or Dhāt) of Allah or not bound intrinsically to the Self of Allah. So according to this, the Attributes are divided into three categories:

  1. Attributes ascribed to His Self (Sifāt Dhātiyyah).
  2. Attributes ascribed to His Actions (Sifāt Fi’liyyah).
  3. Attributes ascribed to both His Self and His Actions (Sifāt Dhātiyyah Fi’liyyah)

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who follow his guidance. To proceed:

The hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), which lists the names of Allah, has become widespread among people. Allah is named with names that He did not use for Himself, nor did His Messenger use them, based on what is mentioned in this hadith. When I became aware of the scholars' assessment of this hadith as weak, I wanted to compile its various chains of transmission and the statements of the hadith masters regarding its chain of narrators and its text. After Allah granted me success in completing this research, I decided to publish it on this website so that the status of this hadith may be known, especially among the Salafis, for they are the people of sound creed and its defenders.
