Na Surah Al-A’raf Ayah 180 Allah diz:
وَلِلَّهِ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا ۖ وَذَرُوا الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي أَسْمَائِهِ ۚ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٨٠﴾
“Os mais sublimes atributos pertencem a Deus; invocai-O, pois, e evitai aqueles que profanam os Seus atributos, porqueserão castigados pelo que tiverem cometido.”
Hadith de Al-Bukhari nº 7392, no qual Abu Huraira relata que o Mensageiro de Allah (que a paz esteja com ele) disse:
“Allah tem noventa e nove nomes, cem menos um; e aquele que os memorizar a todos entrará no Paraíso.”
